Projects / The work behind the journal
Small beginnings.
Real possibility.
A few things I'm building, learning, and making. This is where the ideas meet everyday life.
01 / Earn
The reselling experiment.
I'm starting an eBay business by selling sports and Pokémon cards, beginning with cards I already own. The aim is to build starting capital while learning what it takes to run a small business.
What I'm paying attention to
Actual profit after fees, shipping, supplies, and inventory costs. How quickly cards sell. How much time the business takes. What deserves another experiment.
02 / Learn
A stronger financial foundation.
My journey starts with paying off consumer debt and building a three-month emergency fund. After that, I want to learn more about long-term investing, including dividend stocks.
I'm sharing the decisions, habits, and lessons along the way. These are goals I'm working toward, rather than milestones I'm claiming to have reached.
First
Reduce debt.
Understand the numbers and direct additional profit toward a clearer starting point.
Next
Build a buffer.
Work toward three months of essential expenses in an emergency fund.
Then
Think long term.
Keep learning about investing and the choices that support future independence.
03 / Live
Life, on film.
Photography gives me a reason to slow down. With my Rolleicord and Canon Sure Shot, I'm exploring the ordinary details that are easy to miss when everything moves too quickly.
Alongside film, my existing photography archive holds the creative work that brought me here. It remains part of the story.
From the photography archive
A different kind
of storytelling.
Before this journal, I was building stories with figures, light, and a camera. That creative work remains part of who I am—and part of this website's archive.
